Ally Schlegel is set to make a significant move in her career.

The Longmont, Colorado, native has secured a two-year contract with the North Carolina Courage after deciding to leave Chicago Stars FC and explore free agency earlier this week.

Over the past three seasons, Schlegel played a vital role for the Stars, contributing both on and off the field. Transitioning to the Courage, she joins a team eager to bounce back after narrowly missing out on playoff contention in 2025.

This marks the first time Schlegel has entered free agency, making her decision to depart Chicago a weighty one.
