Despite being under contract with Tomas Adolfo Duco Stadium until 2027, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder Matko Miljevic has caught the eye of Inter Miami.
Recent reports indicate interest from the Herons along with a bid from Racing Club of $2.8 million that was subsequently rejected. Journalist Cesar Luis Merlo shared updates on this situation, translating from Spanish:
“Inter Miami is interested in Matko Miljevic. There have been approaches to Huracán, though no formal offer has been made yet. Racing offered US$2.8M for 80% of his rights, but it was deemed insufficient by Huracán.”
Miljevic’s prior experience in MLS with CF Montreal, where he managed to score two goals in 35 appearances, could potentially complement the talents of Messi and his teammates. However, it seems the Herons have not yet put forth a formal offer for his services.
