Real Madrid Eyes Manchester United Star as Potential Captain Replacement in Summer Proposal

Real Madrid is on the hunt for a new right-back as Dani Carvajal’s future hangs in the balance. The club has turned its attention to Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot as a potential replacement.

Many of Real Madrid’s veteran players, including Carvajal, David Alaba, and Antonio Rudiger, are facing contract expiration at the end of this season. As these pivotal figures near the exit, the club stands at a critical juncture.

Carvajal has been a cornerstone of Real Madrid’s success over the past decade, racking up 444 appearances. However, with the emergence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, he finds himself lower in the pecking order and possibly on the way out.

Current reports from Spain indicate that Real Madrid is preparing for all potential outcomes regarding Carvajal’s future. They are keenly interested in Dalot, identifying him as one of the top choices to solidify their right-back position.

Dalot’s acquisition would hinge on Carvajal’s departure. Both players share a similar playing style, though Dalot is noted for his ability to join the attack more effectively.

According to sources, Dalot’s valuation sits at around €30 million, a figure that Real Madrid may find agreeable. However, it’s anticipated that Manchester United will hold out for a higher price.

Interestingly, if money were no object, Real Madrid would prefer to bring back Achraf Hakimi, who is considered one of the best right-backs in the game today.

Transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano has previously shared insights, stating that David Alaba is expected to leave Real Madrid at season’s end, a move that has been anticipated for some time.

Romano explained, “It’s always been somewhat uncertain, but now the situation is clear. Alaba will part ways with the club, seeking a new challenge after his time at Bayern Munich and Madrid.”

As for Carvajal and Rudiger, Romano confirmed that there has been no final word. Discussions on their futures are expected to pick up as the season wraps up. Key decisions await, influencing not only the players’ trajectories but also the club’s strategies going forward.

Stay tuned for further updates as this story develops, particularly how these critical transitions will shape the upcoming season for Real Madrid.
